Dylan Beam
Founder, President and Board Member
Bio: Dylan planted the seeds that eventually turned into API in July of 2018, and has led the development of the organization ever since. His interest in prosthetics began in the fall of 2013 as a high school junior when he learned about the field of neural prosthetics. It was then that he decided to pursue a career in prosthetics, leading to his Bachelors of Science in Biological Engineering from The Ohio State University and his Masters in Bioengineering from the University of Pittsburgh with a focus in Neural Engineering. As the President of API, Dylan helps to identify new areas of development for the organization, ensures the smooth daily operation of our organization, and serves as the key liaison between our board of directors, the team leaders, and our chapters.
