Matthew Shaw

National Expansion Coordinator, Primary School Education Lead

Bio: Matthew has a deep passion for education, outreach, and networking. These passions were developed during his days as a scout; where he served as camp staff and eventually earned the rank of Eagle in 2016. Matthew earned a Bachelors of Integrated Social Studies Education at Ohio Dominican University, and is currently working on a Masters of History at Providence College. Having worked in several nonprofits including the Boy Scouts of America, The YMCA, and Eye Wide Open International in various positions ranging from curricula developer and program director to committee member. Matthew brings a depth of knowledge and tested skills to the team. Matthew currently serves API as the Primary School Education Team Lead, and as the National Expansion Coordinator. In these roles Matthew is excited to help educate and equip the next generation of engineers and healthcare professionals inside and outside of the classroom.
